The school became a sponsored Academy in January 2018.
We were inspected on 8 and 9 June 2022. 

While the behaviour and attitudes of pupils were rated as good, and the school continues to improve, we are still on a journey of development. We are focused on making all subjects within our curriculum as impactful as reading, writing, and maths. Our goal is to ensure that every pupil has the opportunity to explore their talents and interests through a broad curriculum and a wide range of extracurricular opportunities in sport and the arts. We are also committed to making parents, carers, and families key partners in these aims.
