On Wednesday, Reception children were lucky enough to visit the Animal Man in Nursery, where they had a truly exciting experience meeting a range of different animals. The children had the opportunity to hold or gently stroke an owl, a snake, a lizard, a gecko, a cockroach and even a honey bear.

They demonstrated great bravery as they stepped outside their comfort zones to interact with unfamiliar creatures. The session sparked curiosity and excitement, with lots of thoughtful questions and discussions about the animals.

It was a memorable and engaging experience that helped build confidence while developing respect and understanding for living things.
