Year 4 have been learning about sound in Science. They have learnt that sounds are made when objects vibrate. Year 4 made instruments vibrate by banging, shaking, tapping or strumming them in order to create sounds. We then discovered how vibrations then travel through the air (or another medium) to our ears. Year 4 observed the ear and learnt about the inner workings. They drew detailed diagrams and explained how sound is heard.
