Year 4 have been learning about the Romans through both history and dance. In dance, the children have been stepping into the role of gladiators by practising real battle-style movements such as the honour march, spear actions, chopping motions, and sword swings. They are now beginning to link these movements together to build their own dance sequences.

In history, the children have explored what happened when the Romans invaded Britain and the reasons behind the invasion. They are looking forward to discovering even more about the Roman Empire as the half term continues.
